I just clicked on my blog site and saw the recent blog that i'd posted on.. 2nd day without you? lets see.. you left on 16th and it's 5th of March now.. We had totally separated, as in seldom contact, for like 3 weeks.. it's going to be 1 month soon. Maybe it's easy to let go for both of us because the duration of us together was very short even though our love ended deeply.

However, part of the reason is because of my busy life these days.. i've been busy working on mon, fri and saturday and busy studying from tuesday to friday. Sunday have to accompany my parents, do assignments, give piano classes and meet up with friends. Actually i kinda purposely cramp everything together because i don't want to have to think of you. Study and work are the best way to let everyone to forget about something.

Yeah sometimes we will chat.. but it's like once in a week / 2 weeks? and it's kinda like normal chat.. Thanks baby for giving me (or maybe both of us) a very good memories in the last two weeks plus in melb. Do you know what? i think i'm quite an unlucky girl because i always broke up with bfs before my birthday and all those important celebrations like valentine's day, christmas, new year's eve and stuff.. i celebrated only ONCE for valentine's day and none for others.

But in the end of 2010, everything was different. i had a really EXTREMELY hard time during 2010 (from Jan '10 till Nov '10). We celebrated christmas together.. we celebrated new year's eve together.. we so called celebrated our valentine's day this year (although we were far apart :) ) Actually i'm quite satisfied with what we had even though everything has to come to an end.

I had a good time in Singapore
and i'm sure You had a good time in Malaysia too
AND we had the best time in Melb :)

I'm slowly get used to sleep without skype-ing you.

I think it's good that we both came from different country because we have to get used to the distance between each other. Still remember how close our distance was back in melbourne? It's freaking near until we thought it was fated. Was it fated, or not? Our feeling towards each other are gaining each day. I'm already fully satisfied from what we had although it only stands for 1 month plus.

Still remember how crazy we were?

We got the same day to leave Melbourne, which both of us think it is so lucky. After settled down in our own country for 5 days, i flew to your country to see you? After 'my trip', you flew to my country to see me?

First time i felt like i'm shooting for a movie.. I always see the actor hugging and kissing their loved ones at the airport, and the moment when both hands have to separate.. I've tried in real life, to be honest, it is so indescribable. Can you imagine that you can't see your beloved ANYMORE after you let go your hand?

First time i let you go was in melbourne. We both thought we can't see each other anymore and our relationship gonna end just like this..

Second time you let me go was in your country and I thought it's the end of the story..

Third time I let you go was in my country.. and this time.. the story is finally ended.

Why can't you work in my country? or Why can't i study in your country? or Why can't we just stay at the country where we met? or Why can't I born in the same year as you? ALL the answers are the same.which is IMPOSSIBLE

why do i have to go through all these? i just want a simple relationship. Finally i felt real love after few years of single life..

Dear, do you remember what i told you before you leave me? 'The only way to stay beside you is suicide, then my spirit will be there for you forever'. and you always kept silent when i say that. I'm not being childish or whatsoever. I really have the guts to do it if you said ALRIGHT. Believe me, say OKAY to me if you want it to happen.

Nothing much to write about for this trip because i had few times of complicated feelings when i was in Singapore. Should I be happy or sad? Sometimes i feel happy because you're here with me but sometimes i feel sad because you're going to leave me.

Maybe i should listen to you instead of worrying what's going to happen next

Dinner at Yuzu

We celebrated sister's birthday at Yuzu, Gardens. There's only one word to describe this Japanese restaurant, which is 'average' even though the it's costly. This is our first time visited this place, and also the last time. Personally think that even a normal Sushi Zanmai Japanese restaurant is way better than Yuzu. But still we had a good time here

I had an unforgettable Christmas and New Year. We tried our very best to spend more time with each other because we have only 2 weeks together. How I wish we can meet each other earlier. We did went to the Defqon party in Sydney on September.. Unfortunately, we didn't know we were at the same concert and we actually know each other's friends.. We believe in fate.. If we are meant for each other, no matter how far we're apart, we would definitely get back together in one day.. If not, then we are happy that we had the happiest last 2 weeks in Melbourne.

Last night after we had dinner at Richmond, we straight for our favourite desserts in Old Paper Shop Deli at Clarendon St.

Do not worry about the future for it is not yet come.

Live each day in the present and make it beautiful.

There's one night, I was walking on the beach, thinking about you, our past and future. There's a very high possibility that we couldn't get with each other in the future, so i have no choice, but to appreciate what we'd did in the past.

I found the real happiness when we spent time with each other and also your family. I still remember that your sis wants me to get her macademia nuts when i'm back :) I'm already satisfied the stuff that we did together although it was just 7 months. These 7 months really meant a lot to me, i will definitely keep those memories in my heart forever.

Had dinner at T.G.I Fridays. To be honest, i'm sort of reluctant to dine at Fridays because from what i had in Malaysia, their food is just normal, personally think that this restaurant is overrated. However, things could be different when they're in different countries. The food serve at Fridays, Australia, is so much delicious compared to the one in Malaysia.

Here are three simple pieces of advice for turning that, "I'm so bored, please kill me," bowl of oatmeal, into something special.

First, use "steel-cut" oatmeal instead of those rolled oats. The difference between steel-cut and regular oatmeal is like the difference between a walk on the beach, and standing in line at the DMV. The superior texture and taste of steel-cut, with basically the same cooking time, makes this a must-try.

Second, find some grade "B" maple syrup. To me it tastes more maple-y than the standard supermarket grade "A." I get mine at Trader Joes, but you should be able to find it somewhere close. I had heard it was better tasting long ago, but never bothered to try it until recently. I'll never get those wasted years back.
Finally, put some real, unsalted, sweet, creamy butter on top. The thin slice of butter you see here (only 1/2 teaspoon), slowly melting into the hot oats, mocking you with its luxurious sheen, has exactly 16 calories.

Hey dieters, why turn a delicious breakfast into prison food to save 16 calories? It doesn't make any sense. Enjoy!

Bread Pudding

Bread Pudding Recipe

Ingredients

Bourbon Sauce:

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup Kentucky bourbon whiskey

Bread Pudding:

1 loaf French bread, at least a day old, cut into 1-inch squares (about 6-7 cups)
1 qt milk
3 eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups sugar
2 Tbsp vanilla
1 cup raisins (soaked overnight in 1/4 cup bourbon)
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Method

Bourbon Sauce:
In a saucepan, melt butter; add sugar and egg, whisking to blend well. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens. (Do not allow to simmer, or it may curdle.) Whisk in bourbon to taste. Remove from heat. Whisk before serving. The sauce should be soft, creamy, and smooth.

Bread Pudding:
1 Preheat oven to 350°F.

2 Soak the bread in milk in a large mixing bowl. Press with hands until well mixed and all the milk is absorbed. In a separate bowl, beat eggs, sugar, vanilla, and spices together. Gently stir into the bread mixture. Gently stir the raisins into the mixture.

3 Pour butter into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking pan. Coat the bottom and the sides of the pan well with the butter. Pour in the bread mix and bake at 350°F for 35-45 minutes, until set. The pudding is done when the edges start getting a bit brown and pull away from the edge of the pan. Can also make in individual ramekins.

Serve with bourbon whiskey sauce on the side; pour on to taste. Best fresh and eaten the day it is made. Makes 8-10 servings.

The secret to great potato pancakes is to make sure you squeeze out all the water before mixing. This will give you beautifully browned, crispy cakes. By the way, if you're out of smoked salmon, these are wonderful with applesauce.

Makes 8 Potato Pancakes

Prep Time: 40 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 50 minutes

Ingredients:

2 1/4 pounds russet potato, peeled
1/2 yellow onion, peeled
2 large eggs
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
pinch of cayenne
vegetable oil, as needed
3-4 ounces thinly sliced smoked salmon
4 tablespoon sour cream
1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped

Preparation:

Using a cheese grater, shred the potatoes, and quickly transfer into a large bowl of cold water. Grate the onion and add to bowl. Let sit for 20 minutes. Add the eggs, flour, salt, pepper, and cayenne to another large mixing bowl, and whisk until smooth; reserve.

Drain the potato mixture into a colander, pressing down to squeeze out as much water as possible. Line a baking sheet with several layers of paper towels. Take a handful of the potato mixture from the colander, and squeeze as hard as possible to extract even more water. Place the "dry" potatoes on the paper towels.

Repeat until all the potato mixture has been squeezed dry. Spread the potatoes evenly on the baking sheet and press down with some dry paper towels. Remove the paper towels and transfer the potato mixture to the bowl with the egg mixture. Use a spatula to combine thoroughly.

Pour about 1/4 inch of vegetable oil into a large, heavy skillet (preferably non-stick). Place over medium-high heat, and when the oil is hot (the surface will begin to shimmer), spoon about 1/3 cup of the potato mixture into the pan, shape into a round, and flatten to about 1/2-inch thick. Turn down the heat to medium, and fry the potato pancakes for about 5 minutes per side, or until browned and crispy.

Remember, the potatoes are raw, so be sure they cook through. There is nothing worse than raw potatoes! You can probably fry 4 potato pancakes at a time. Drain on paper towels and hold in a warm oven until they're all done (or use 2 pans).

To serve, top with the sliced smoked salmon, a dollop of sour cream, the fresh dill, and a few grinds of black pepper.

On Monday, we reached Penang around 2 p.m. then Mr. Yan brought us to some indoor hawker stall

After lunch, we headed to our hotel. While waiting for the guys to settle the hotel payment & rooms, we decided to camwhore :)

After we got our rooms, all of us gathered at the boys' place to plan for the following days. After we settled down and took a nap, the guys planned to swim because the weather in Penang is extremely hot.

After dinner, we headed to Yan's house

We stayed at Yan's place until 11/12 midnight, then went to some place that nearby Gurney plaza to enjoy the night view of Penang

After 1hour, we went to hawker stall and had a drink

Next morning we had CKT & Roti Canai as our brunch

After CKT, 6 guys wanted to eat somemore and the other 5 were very full. So 5 of us went to temple while waiting for the rest to finish their Laksa

Finally bought the Hada Labo moisturizing lotion in Pyramid's Guardian. I've found the steps to use this product from 'My Women Stuff'

Step 1

Pour 2 drops from the bottle.

*Don't squeeze. Just let 2 drops fall into the palm of your hand. (2/3 drops already enough for the whole face)

Step 2

Rub your hands together and apply the lotion all over your face. You will feel a bit watery and slippery at this point

Step 3

Lightly pat your skin

*It is normal to feel tacky and sticky at this point

Step 4

After you pat evenly on your face, the sticky feeling will slowly disappear. At this moment, your face will become very smooth because it fully absorbed the lotion.

Step 5

We celebrated dad's birthday at Oriental Pavilion in Jaya 33. That day my class ended at 6p.m so I don't have enough time to rush home to bath but to bath at True Fitness :) Before I get into to the centre, I realized that i'd lost my wallet!! November I asked him to join gym because I need transport to Jaya 33 then he joined it. On December, he slowly 'washing' my brain with some new direct sales products but of course I didn't buy anything from him because its just too expensive. One day, he asked me out for lunch and the reason he gave me was ' long time no see'. After lunch, I knew the real reason was ' introduce me the direst sales products ' and i promised to introduce my good friend to him. On that day itself, he asked me to accompany him to a talks then i asked him what it is about. The answer was ' motivation talks ' but ended up i felt like being cheated.. The talks was all about how this direct sales products works and how their boss become so rich. At that moment, I told myself to calm down because he is my good friend.

After few weeks, my friend is not interested to this products at all and i don't have enough money to buy the product that I want, so, I just told him that I don't have enough money. After he replied my sorry message, he ignored me until now. Normally he would call me once a week or two weeks once to gym but now.. No calls, No messages, Nothing.

Now only I know he is THAT realistic. If you did not help him to earn money, you Can you imagine.. You gave your good friend a birthday present & message during his birthday and you did not get any from him during your own birthday? Not even a message from facebook or phone?

I'm being so stupid for the whole 2009. Added up with this case, i've been cheated for at least 4 times.. And the person included in these different 4 cases are my good friends, the one that i love before and the one that i trusted before.

I got lots of bad memories in 2009 but I will remember every single of them because people would grow up if they had experienced it. You treat your friend very good does not mean they have to treat you good in return, so, everyone are realistic.

In 2010, I will not trust people 100% because there are too many 'double faced people' in this world.

Christmas outing

Yesterday worked until 2pm then went to Gardens. We took around 45 minutes to find place to park but our luck are so bad.. lol Ended up we parked at the jorkey parking.

We watched Avatar at 3:30pm. Basically I don't think the movie is very nice but I love our seats because its so comfortable and it is right in the middle of the cinema..
After movie we had scrumptious thai food at Flying Chillies.

We had

a single bowl of tom yam soup because someone can't take spicy food lol

traditional thai noodle (i can't remember the exact name on the menu but this dish is super yummy)

Just now I browsed through 'HOME' in facebook and saw my friend posted up their pictures during the penang trip. I already told myself to be prepared before open up the photo album. And it answered ' Ya, i'm well prepared. Right now there is a person who loves me deeply, so, why would I care about the past? ' Then when I clicked 'NEXT', 'NEXT', 'NEXT' and 'NEXT'.. their lovely pictures appeared eventually. Suddenly felt heartache but it pains for few minutes then tears started fall. However, sad mood only stands for few minutes because I have no reason to be sad of. We only be together like.. not even half a year and separated for one and a half year & I don't even have a bit of feeling towards this guy, so, why should I be sad? My heart should be full of happiness instead of sadness because there's a person care about me so much and I should appreciate whatever he had done to me.

It is popular in Japan today to drink water immediately after waking up every morning.

Furthermore, scientific tests have proven its value. We publish below a description of use of water for our readers.

26th November went to Mid Valley to so called 'celebrate' my birthday. We watched Christmas Carol at GSC signature and it was the WORST movie that i'd watched for this year.

We went to Solaris Mont Kiara *again* for dinner at Boston. The environment was nice but the food just the same as Kim Gary or Wong Kok restaurant.

We just had our dinner at some food court in Taka then headed to Cold Storage to get some beer and snacks & 7-Eleven to get poker cards.

I found this set of nail kit is very useful. You can get shining nails even without going for any manicure/pedicure services.

I've been finding a nice wedges that suit me.. Finally found it in Pazzion, and it costs me SGD 79.90. But this wedges made my toe so painful!! lol

Finally, I want to thanks Yen, Joe, Joe's bro and their mom. They sponsored me air ticket, hotel, food and pocket money SGD 300. The biggest birthday present for this year :)

Next morning, Joe's friend brought us to Jones the Grocer at Dempsey Hill for breakfast. The English Breakfast there was delicious but the portion is too big for girls, i think :)
The worst part of our journey is KARAOKE session. I didn't know their karaoke is that bad until i'd tried it. The sound system is bad, the environment is bad, the TELEVISION is bad too.

Singapore trip - Part 2

For the first night in Singapore, Yen and Joe's bro brought us to Fairmont Hotel for Japanese cuisine at Inagiku. It is a premier japanese restaurant with classy place and scrumptious food. When Yen, Joe and me first opened the menu, we were like WOW! The cheapest food there is a bowl of garlic rice (SGD 7) haha But of course my Yen's bro will not bother about the price since he is already working. So, we had a special prawns that cooked with some cheese and 'secret recipe' lol, fresh mushrooms, clam soups, fresh sashimi, beef and of course Garlic rice :)

Second day of the night, three of us went to Pete's place at Hyatt Hotel to have Italian food.

After that, we took cab to Dempsey Hill for ice-cream at Ben & Jerry. Their food orders are placed fast-food style. Just simply queue up at the counter and pick your choice of ice cream flavor, come and toppings.

After checked in, we went straight to the nearest shopping centre, Takashimaya. It only took us 30 seconds to WALK from our hotel to Takashimaya :) We had ramen for our lunch then search for Yen's red colour cosplay heels.

Bukit Tinggi

Before exam, I followed parents and parents to Bukit Tinggi. This trip was held for the Dumex staff under LHM Department. They wanted to motivate the staff and gain teamwork from this trip. When we reached there, they already started meeting. After that, we went to had our lunch before we explore BUKIT TINGGI.

Why are they laughing? Haha.. Uncle used a soup bowl to drink COFFEE lol.

After lunch, Bukit Tinggi provided us an explore game.. It is named as Exploring Race. It is something like Amazing Race. Because of this exploration, I didn't get to take any photos because we are not allowed to bring $$ and any own vehicles, so I don't want my beloved camera to get into the risk ;)

The fellow gave each group 5 photos and we need to figured out which places are there.

First station, we went to rabbit park and complete the mission. 2nd station, horse trails then complete the mission again. There's 'bukit tinggi car' can send us to the horse trails place but we need to WIN so we plan to run there and BLOCK the car that passed by at the same time. And we were so lucky!! There's 1 car willing to stop down and fetch us to horse trails lol Then the other stations are Japanese village and .. I can't really remember the name. The most memorable things in the exploring race is last station. SWIMMING POOL. We have 4 poles and 2 floats. We need to plan how to tie all of them up with 2 strings then 'send' everyone from the beginning of the swimming pool to the end. Yuki and I were the first who go first and also the FIRST who dropped into the water lol Wonderful exploration I had.

That day all of us are devided into 8 groups. My group only for 2nd place :( The first place goes to my brother's group. My parents said their children very GENG! Cuz we took the first and second place lol.. After that we went back to hotel to bath and have our dinner. In the hotel, mom and dad told me that they BRIBE the bukit tinggi's car's driver!! ALAMAK. The boss asked the staffs to have TEAMWORK but the BOSS BRIBE in front of the staff haha.

Thursday went to Mid Valley after exams over. Actually we plan to watch 2012 in Mid Valley but once we reached there.. we were like WTH! Why are all these people so free on Thursday?
We will never squeeze in the queue just to sit on a chair for 2 hours plus :) So, we went to GSC cinema in Gardens just to try our luck. At that time, there were only 4 to 5 people so of course we watch at the Gardens.

Before movie, we went to Yo Sushi to have our lunch but it gave us the unforgettable memories. I had never try such a bad taste of sushi before.. The sushi there are definitely worst than Sushi King! I remembered last time I saw Yo Sushi was crowded when I passed by the restaurant, so, I assumed it to have good food and service. When I first step in this restaurant, the services are good but the food.. UNACCEPTABLE! but but.. No matter how bad the food are. When you're with the one that you love, everything seems to be so amazing and perfect :)

Ok.. After lunch then movie..

For me, the movie is acceptable but not that nice.. It wasn't what i've expected. The movie is super meaningful because it tells human about the future. But conclusion, I don't think that 2 hours and 45 minutes freezing in the cinema is worth it.. IT DOESNT WORTH AT ALL.. That's my opinion.. However, i think majority of people think that this movie is good because the graphic quite reality compared to the korean movie, Tsunami.

Thanks for being so honest to me at this time. I really appreciate it. If life could turn back to those days, I will definitely become the type of girlfriend that you want. I'm very sure of that. Now our life are totally different. Now we can't just be together without thinking of the people around us such as our family. Last night went to Tropicana City watched Whiteout with Jasmine. Actually the movie is quite nice (but i prefer surrogates tho) but we were so unlucky to be chosen to sit at the third row. Whenever the character kill each other, i will feel like vomitting and headache because we sat too near the screen.

That was the first time i'd been to Tropicana City and i realized that the GSC cinema screen is a bit bigger than the one in One Utama and the chairs are very new.

Overall, i think the movie is okay but just the seat problem made me headache for the whole night.

His actual birthday is on 12.10.2009 and we wanted to celebrate with him on that day itself. But too bad.. Someone booked him earlier than us :) So, we got no choice but to choose Sunday.

Many of them cannot make it on Sunday so ended up only 5 of us attended. We had our lunch at The Curve, Senjyu Sushi.

Sodium Laureth Sulfate SLS

All these Shampoos use a chemical called SLS which is actually a floor cleaner. They are used so as to produce more foam.

Imagine what a floor cleaner can do to you hair and scalp.

The other important information that I would like to share with everyone are ..

(1)Don't eat kurkure because it contains high amount of plastic if U don't believe burn kurkure n U can see plastic melting..

(2)Avoid these tablets. They are very dangerous

§ Actified
§ Coldarin
§ Cosome
§ Nice
§ Nimulid
§ Cetrizet-D

They contain Phenyl- Propanol -Amide PPA.Which Causes strokes, and these tablets are banned in U.S.

(3)Cotton Ear Buds

Please do not show sympathy to people selling buds on roadside or at Signals......Just wanted to warn you people not to buy those packs of ear buds you get at the roadside. It's made from cotton that has already been used in hospitals. They take all the dirty, blood and pus filled cotton, wash it, bleach it and use it to make ear buds..

So, unless you want to become the first person in the world to get Herpes Zoster Oticus (a viral infection of the inner, middle, and external ear) of the ear and that too from a cotton bud, DON'T BUY THEM!
